In My Backyard
Health and Wellness
Healthy Options for People Everywhere
Our Mission:
To provide health and wellness education that will empower families, neighbors and communities to actively engaged in adopting and sustaining a healthy lifestyle.
In My Backyard Health and Wellness Program began in May of 2010 with initial funding support from Patrice Gregory and Tim Anderson. Additional in kind contributions were provided by the Ohio Department of Health Diabetes Prevention and Control Division, Central Community House and The Ohio State University Medical Center Minority Health Outreach Office.
We continue to seek opportunities to expand this program into other communities and neighborhoods. A key element for expansion remains funding for programing support. Currently, we are looking for funding sources to maintain and expand the program for the 2011 year and beyond. Cash donations, in-kind services and volunteer support are accepted and much appreciative.
If your organization/agency is interested in making a financial contribution to support this important health and wellness education program, a fiscal agent with a 501 (c) 3 status is available.
